Causes of Tingling and Pain in Hands

Cervical Spondylosis: When the vertebrae in the neck of the spine wear out, the nerves going to the hands can become compressed. This can cause pain and tingling to spread to the hands.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: When there is pressure on the nerves in the wrist, you may experience tingling and pain in the palm and fingers. This is more common in people who use computers and phones excessively.

Diabetes: If the blood sugar level rises uncontrollably, it can affect the nerves (Diabetic Neuropathy) and cause tingling and pain in the hands and feet.

Vitamin Deficiency: If the body is deficient in vitamin B12 and vitamin D, the nerves slow down and you may experience tingling.

Muscle Strain: Lifting heavy objects or moving your arms incorrectly can strain your muscles and cause pain.

Circulatory problems: When blood flow to your arms is restricted, you may experience numbness.

Thyroid problems: Some people experience pressure on their nerves due to changes in thyroid hormones.
