Reasons for Joint Pain

Arthritis: The most important of these is inflammation of the joints.

Osteoarthritis: It occurs due to the wear and tear of the cartilage in the joints as we age.

Rheumatoid Arthritis: An autoimmune disease caused by the body’s immune system attacking its own joints.

 

Gout: Increased levels of uric acid in the blood cause them to form crystals in the joints (especially in the toes), causing severe pain.

Injuries: Injuries to the ligaments or tendons in the joints due to falls or trauma.

Obesity: When weight gain occurs, it can put excessive pressure on the knees and other joints and cause the joints to wear out quickly.

Vitamin Deficiency: A deficiency of Vitamin D or calcium in the body can affect the health of bones and joints.

Lifestyle: Lack of exercise and prolonged sitting can cause joint stiffness and pain.
