Migraine is not a common headache. Its main causes are some abnormal changes in the nervous system of the brain, changes in chemicals, and genetic factors.

The main factors that cause migraine can be divided into two:

1. Underlying Causes
Genetics: If your parents or close relatives have migraines in your family, you are more likely to get it.

Chemical changes in the brain: Changes in the levels of neurotransmitters such as serotonin in the brain cause pain.

Hormonal changes: Hormonal changes that occur in women during menstruation or pregnancy can trigger migraines.

2. Triggers (Migraine-causing situations)
Those with migraines can help reduce pain by avoiding the following situations:

Diet: Excessive caffeine consumption (tea/coffee), chocolate, foods with ajinomoto, and alcohol.

Lack of sleep: Lack of sleep or oversleeping can trigger migraines.

Mental stress: Excessive workload, anxiety, anger, etc.

Environmental causes: Strong sunlight, excessive light, loud noise, strong smells of perfumes.

Travel: Long-distance travel can trigger migraines in some people.
