The main causes of frequent fever in children are given below:

Main causes of frequent fever
Viral Infections: The most common cause of fever in children is viral infections (colds, sore throats, flu). Such viruses are transmitted very quickly from one child to another in children who go to school or daycare. Even if the virus that has come once has changed, a new type of virus can cause children to get frequent fever.

Immunity Development: Children’s immune system is strengthened when they fight and win against new germs. Therefore, frequent minor fevers at a young age are normal.

Allergies: Allergies to dust, pollen, pet dander, etc. cause swelling in the nose and lungs, which is often mistaken for a fever.

Tonsillitis: Recurrent infection of the tonsils in the throat can cause frequent fever.

Urinary Tract Infection (UTI): Minor infections in the urinary tract that do not show any symptoms can cause frequent fever in children.

Teething: It is normal for a baby’s body temperature to rise slightly during teething. However, a high fever is not necessarily the only sign of this.

Malnutrition: Anemia or other nutrient deficiencies can affect the immune system in children, making them more susceptible to illness.
