Don’t take dizziness lightly! Identify these 5 reasons behind frequent dizziness

Sudden dizziness often scares us. It can be caused by anything from a loss of balance to serious health problems. The main causes that lead to dizziness are:

Inner ear problems (Vertigo): Our body’s balance is maintained by certain parts of the inner ear. Infections or changes in this can cause dizziness and nausea.

Changes in blood pressure: A sudden drop in blood pressure (Low BP) when standing up or walking can cause dizziness. Similarly, high blood pressure can also cause heaviness and dizziness in the head.

Dehydration and Anemia (Anemia): A decrease in the amount of water in the body is the main cause of dizziness. In anemia, where the amount of hemoglobin in the blood is low, the brain may not receive enough oxygen.

Low blood sugar: In diabetics or those who have not eaten for a long time, a sudden drop in blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia) can cause severe dizziness and fatigue.

Mental stress and insomnia: Excessive anxiety, stress, and lack of sleep can affect the nervous system and cause dizziness.
