Those who bathe daily, beware; these 7 mistakes can ruin your health!

The main mistakes to avoid to make our bath more healthy are:

1. Bathing in excessively hot water
Although bathing in hot water is pleasant during the cold season, excessively hot water completely removes the natural oils from the skin. This can cause the skin to dry out and become itchy. It is best to use lukewarm water.

2. Bathing for a long time
Spending too much time in the bathroom can dehydrate the skin. Dermatologists say that bathing for more than 5 to 10 minutes is not good for the skin.

3. Excessive use of soap
Applying soap all over the body can dry out the skin. Use soap only on the armpits, private parts, and feet, where dirt and sweat accumulate the most. Choose mild soaps or body washes.

4. Not cleaning your loofah and sponge
Loofahs and sponges used to scrub your body are a breeding ground for bacteria. If they are not dried and stored properly, they can cause skin infections. They should be replaced every 3-4 weeks.

5. Shampooing your hair daily
Using shampoo every day can strip your hair of its natural moisture, making it rough and brittle. Shampoo only two or three times a week.

6. If you have severe dandruff
Rubbing your body with a rough loofah immediately after bathing can damage your skin. The correct method is to pat your skin dry with a soft towel.

7. Not applying moisturizer immediately after bathing
Applying moisturizer or body lotion within three minutes of bathing will help retain moisture in your skin. Make sure to apply lotion before your skin is completely dry.
