Main causes of dizziness

Inner Ear Problems: The inner ear is the part of the ear that maintains our body’s balance. If there is an infection or swelling there, severe dizziness (Vertigo) can be experienced.

Blood Pressure Difference: A drop in blood pressure when standing up suddenly (Orthostatic Hypotension) can cause dizziness. This is also seen in people with high BP.

Anemia: Not having enough blood (hemoglobin) in the body reduces the oxygen supply to the brain and can cause fatigue and dizziness.

Dehydration: Not having enough water in the body is a major cause of dizziness. This can happen quickly when standing in the sun.

Low Blood Sugar (Hypoglycemia): People with diabetes or those who skip meals may experience dizziness when their sugar levels drop.

Mental stress/anxiety: When you experience excessive anxiety or fear (Anxiety/Panic attack), changes in breathing can cause dizziness.

Side effects of medications: Some medications for blood pressure, insomnia, and allergies can cause dizziness.
