Knee Pain is a problem that can occur for many reasons. We can classify its main causes as follows:

Main Reasons for Knee Pain
Osteoarthritis: This is a condition in which the soft part of the knee called ‘Cartilage’ that protects the bones in the knee from rubbing against each other wears out as we age. This is a major cause of pain in adults.

Obesity: In obese people, the knees have to bear the entire body weight, which accelerates knee pain and wear.

Injuries: Injuries to the ligaments or meniscus in the knee during sports or falls can cause severe pain.

Muscle weakness: If the muscles in the thigh (Quadriceps) that support the knee are weak, more pressure will be placed on the knee joints and pain will increase.

Arthritis: Diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and gout (caused by increased uric acid) can cause swelling and pain in the knees.

Bad habits: Sitting on the floor for a long time, using an Indian toilet, and climbing stairs excessively can increase knee pain.
