Constipation doesn’t go away? Take care of these to avoid hemorrhoids and fistulas!

Constipation often leads to serious conditions such as piles and fistulas. The causes and solutions for these are as follows:

1. Constipation Remedies
Constipation is a condition in which bowel movements are not smooth. To solve this:

Fiber-rich foods: Include spinach, legumes, oats, and bran rice in your diet. Fiber helps soften stools.

Plenty of water: Drink at least 3-4 liters of water daily. Dehydration in the body can cause stools to become thick.

Papaya and fruits: Eating papaya or a well-ripened banana daily can help reduce constipation.

2. Piles/Hemorrhoids – Causes
This is a condition in which the blood vessels in the anus swell.

Main cause: Straining to pass stool due to constipation puts pressure on the blood vessels.

Other causes: Obesity, pregnancy, sitting for long periods of time, and a diet high in spicy and acidic foods.

3. Anal Fistula – Causes
This is a condition in which the glands near the anus become infected and pus builds up, which opens out like a tunnel under the skin.

Main cause: Abscesses near the anus can burst and the pus can become a fistula.

Other causes: Digestive diseases such as Crohn’s disease, infections caused by chronic constipation.

Remedies:
Sitz Bath: Take a large bowl of warm water and sit in it for 15 minutes. This will help reduce pain and increase blood flow.

Reduce the heat: Avoid foods with a lot of chili and fast food.

Eat on time: Eat meals on time to facilitate digestion.

Exercise: Walking for 30 minutes daily will increase bowel movement.
